Used to be an art teacher, was a self employed potter for 11 years, divorced, lived on a narrowboat in the Pennines for 11 years. On the boat I produced cards from my artwork on a solar powered computer, hence my E mail address sunpowercards@hotrmail.com. Tiring of life on a narrowboat, I moved into a van and travelled further afield for a while. Now, in my sixties, I have taken up portrait painting and discovered I am quite good at it . Don't have a lot of money but, this not being new to me, I am not too bothered as I have learned to limit my desires.
