Peter Mellander currently has two different alias; "pete m.lander" when delivering his dark psychotic underground techno and the newly launched parallell alias "Pietro Gentile" in his still tweaky but more deep/techhouse bar-dj appearances -strongly influenced by the club sound of Milano by the time he lived there!
First generation house/techno-DJ in Gothenburg, acting in the shade of the "great ones" during the early/mid 90-ies. Ran the radio show "hq" together with hq’s founder Henrik Strömberg. Successful club host with "Strobe Hours" (1997) lining up Gothenburg’s contribution to the list of world famous DJs such as Samuel L Session, DJ Anti, Max Reich (today one half of Shapeshifters) and more. Founder of the techno-label Blackstrobe Recordings (not to be mixed up with its latter “copy cat” Black Strobe records!). After having spent some time in Switzerland and three years in Milano he is nowadays, again, based in Gothenburg, Sweden.
