Pete is a life-long music fanatic- first DJ gig at the tender age of 16 spinning new wave and alternative for his high school radio station, continuing through college on WVKR at Vassar College.

As DJ Chas Gaudí, The long running Shellac Shack (vintage 78s) established him as the go-to DJ for retro events. All vinyl indie and punk nights were concurrent with c86, Teenage Kicks, Shattered, and Heroes & Villains. Classic soul and R&B nights as well spinning with Nick Waterhouse (before his music career took off) and many events with the San Francisco Junior League, plus a good number of weddings with folks looking for an alternative.

He currently hosts the punk/post-punk/power pop night So It Goes, first Saturdays at the Homestead Bar in SF.
