Marion/Not Quite Punk has been DJ-ing since the summer of 2007. She got her start by booking showcases for local bands, and gleefully guiding audiences through her record collection before, after, and in between sets from bands at said showcases. Not long after that, she teamed up with several like minded record snob friends to start L.A.'s only all vinyl indiepop + northern soul dance party, Hungry Beat! In the spring of 2009 she began hosting a semi-weekly radio show on 89.9 KCRW in Los Angeles (kcrw.com world wide). It happens every other Saturday night/Sunday morning from 3 to 6 AM PST, and it's her very favorite thing to do. Her second favorite thing to do, is DJ-ing for Radio Picture Show, a monthly storytelling series featuring real live people telling true stories inspired by song and/or image.
