Pete's life in music began as a bass player, inspired by Mike Weston of Plymouth-based band "The Better Days," but his early guitar influences included Scotty Moore, George Harrison and Hank Marvin. His first band was a Chuck Berry Tribute, "Judd & the Monquays," the House Band at The Quay Club, Plymouth Barbican (c. 1963) and he subsequently Joined and toured with Exeter-based professional band "The Guild." After a three year break from playing, Pete joined popular South Hams rock band "Caged" (early 70s), then took an 11 year break from playing before reinventing himself as lead guitarist in 50s/60s rock & roll band "Rockwood," one of the top function bands in the South West during the late 80's/early 90s. It was after he left "Rockwood" that he first worked with Wendy, a musical relationship that has lasted many years. Despite hanging up his guitar at the Millennium, Wendy persuaded Pete to return to the stage in 2016 with "The Dellatones," (Classic rock'n'roll trio).
