Got caught up in the early 90s rave and free party scene when Spiral Tribe, Circus Warp and their cohorts blazed a chemical-fuelled path across the South West UK and never really managed to extricate myself. Fell in love with techno [everything from The KLF, Beltram, Bolland, N-Joi, Prodigy, etc. to The Crystal Method, Pendulum, Timo Maas, etc.], schmoozed with house [DJ Sasha, Laurent Garnier, John Kelly, etc.] and flirted with breakbeat [Adam Freeland, The Freestylers, etc. and podcasts too numerous to mention]...

Then, as I crest the 'big 4-oh' and just start thinking that maybe I should retire the raving trainers, fate [in the form of a random dutch guy on placement at work] introduced me to hardstyle - and the techno love affair began again!
