Music has always been my passion.

I started professionally in 1981, DJing many house parties on Chicago’s east side and south side. I DJd at various venues during the 1980s, including at All Saints Catholic School once a month, and Christian Fenger High School sock-hops from 1984 through 1986. During that time I was mentoring and teaching Boo Williams, DjDarryn, Michael Mills and others,, showing them how to spin records

I also showed them how to open up parties for me. I featured Underground Parties at the Steam Pit in Roseland, back when J.R. was throwing parties there. I DJd at Yaks on the south side and had a opportunity to play with, Steve Hurley and Farley Jackmaster Funk!
