Custom has it that I change my Facebook profile to a new one at irregular intervals - if not close it down altogether....only to reopen it... I'm not sure why I do this - but I do. Keeps it fresh, clears out the old stuff and the friends list remains active. I haven't 'deleted' you so just send me an FR ok. x
