Dj Novocals (me) is listening to techno almost from the beginning. The beat (defined by bass) pretended to be in harmony with the beat rate of human heart. Unlike many people I was not shocked by its originality, its recurrence, and its novelty. I was too busy to appreciate the ease you feel to dance on this music. I was very young then. My friends, the older already had the car were already in there so I followed. Then a good friend of mine shared the same passion, we were on. Parties, Techno monster fest such as CUBIK, AMNESIA, IT&T, STREETPARADE, Vinyl shops, etc. Much later I became DJ NOVOCALS (no voice) for local parties and friends and now I collect all these creations on vinyl and compose my own music. That is 26 years that I listen to techno, very versatile in terms of styles, so I appreciate a set of French core as much as a beautiful Ambient session. Finally, lucky enough I didn't associate the music's marvel with some mood altering chemicals ugliness.
