Bjerk Peterson and Jorge Camacho, originally from Tijuana and Miami, respectively, began making music in Monterrey, Mexico while attending the same university. Influenced by the undeground music scene, compositions slowly surfaced with sounds inspired by afrocuban music, jazz and experimental minimalism. Driving basslines, broken beats and haunting melodies are quickly becoming the dominant sound for nonus.
