Growing up, Morehouse was exposed to many styles of music. As a teenager, one of his friends introduced him to electronic dance music. Morehouse continued to listen to other styles of music, but most of them faded away. Electronic dance music stuck with him through the years. He still continues to listen to other styles of music to get inspiration for songs, but he is a purist of electronic dance music.

In April of 2000, while stationed in Fort Cavazos, Texas, Morehouse was taken to his first event where DJs were playing electronic dance music using two turntables and a mixer. What he saw astounded him and will never be forgotten. With two of the most prominent DJs in the United States playing that night, Frankie Bones and Heather Heart, he now knew his calling in life.

Morehouse is living in the NOLA area, and has begun working on a new genre that will be a blend of New Orleans bounce and deep house.
