Monthy is a Norwegian (former) promoter, DJ and producer with deep house and techno as the main genres of interest. Started making music in the early 90's, started throwing parties in the mid 90's, parallel to debuting as a DJ.
Started his first club in 2003, called "Serum" , in Oslo together with a team of friends in the techno and alternative music scene i Oslo. And in 2006 started both the club called "PI" and the net radio "Radio Skranglebass". Did also run "Makeriet" in Bergen for the periode from 2007-2010 together with fellow techno and househeads in Bergen.
Since 2011 residing in Oslo, Norway where in the first years he worked with concepts like Primal Behaviour, Sommerøya, Amenta and Cirka Loka doing lights and helping out in production, besides working freelance with event production for other promoters and event producers.
Lately he has been working with the new project MimreMax. Bringing forth old gems back from the archives.
