Mitch Monty (aka Msquared) began his musical journey as a small child, learning to play the drums, and fascinated by drumlines and snare solo artists. His natural ear for rhythm is in his blood; having a great grandfather as drum major in a Scottish pipe band clearly has its merits.

When Melbourne was hit with arguably the biggest and harshest lockdown, due to the covid-19 pandemic, Msquared rediscovered his love for music and quickly learnt how to translate his previous drum skills and sense of rhythm, whilst discovering the underground dance scene and the heavier styles of dance music.

Fast forward 12 months later and Msquared now runs his own entertainment company in Melbourne, known as Life's Peak, headlining his own events and being discovered by Melbourne's top bars and nightclubs known for their underground dance scene.

Msquared has a very diverse range of music tastes, and inspirations including artists such; as HS82, Claptone, Maceo Plex, Stephan Bodzin, and ARTBAT.
