From her early years as CHEEKITA up to now, many things have changed in MISS SAPPHO’s career but NOT her love and passion for vinyl and electronic music.
She believes in the universal language of music and developed a unique style, which will embark you on a journey full of emotions...
2007 marked the beginning of a lasting love for deejaying. In these early years, a passionate young vinyl djane, who called herself CHEEKITA, started playing Techno sets between 138 and 148 BPM.
Then came 2012, the year of major changes!
She fell in love with labels like ACKER, INNERVISIONS, ACKER DUB, 3000GRAD, to name only a few.
And so the young artist decided to change her name as well:
MISS SAPPHO was born.
She chose this alter ego to honor one of the most influential female poet of the Greek antiquity.
Her style can be described as melodic and rhythmic with pumping baselines between 120 and 128 BPM.
