These archives are shared w/ Neil [Tek] Fox as we often play the same channel; should be clearly marked. Elaine is a dj, stage manager, backline tech, novice sound engineer. Prod. mgr for Great Beyond 2nd stage '21 & '22 & THC Dome & Free Radio Furthur ‘16, ‘17, ‘18 & ‘19.
In Milwaukee, WI '93 she tasted mixing live w/ tapes & an all-in-one stereo on LP FM. Working in theater in Fort Lauderdale, Elaine's 1st chance to mix was on Technics 1200s at a art gallery/record store. Back in Milwaukee she eventually bought her own Tech 12s & dove into djing at cafe/art shows/house parties. She & her turntables were part of Free Radio BOB which formed into the Wireless Virus Free Radio Collective.
She took a break from mixing from '00-'05 & had a son in 03. House music passion & desire for self-expression led Elaine back. She's determined to DJ well into old age. To quote Elaine “I firmly believe in the power of people dancing together in groups to promote peace, compassion & empathy."
