Yorktown, Indiana, United States
Music has been part of my life for as long as I can remember: first playing piano, then composing and producing music (including the glorious MIDI days of video games), and finally discovering DJing in 2004 when I bought my first pair of Technics 1200s and began mastering the ancient art of the train wreck. Each step has shaped the next.
From 2012–2018, I was resident/head DJ at The Ultra Lounge in Cocoa Village, Florida, and I've played clubs, Pride events, private parties and community events along the way.
As DJ MissDirection, my tastes are gloriously difficult to categorize: house, trance, breaks, funk, disco, D&B, pop, classics, remixes, mashups and whatever else makes me reach for the next track.
The goal is simple: joy, energy, surprises and a dance floor where everybody feels welcome.
