New York, United States
New York’s DJ Mickey D first stepped up to the decks at the age of 13. His positive attitude and energetic vibe have led to many amazing opportunities including spinning nightly on Mary J Blige’s Liberation Tour and opening for such legends as Jay Z at the Hammerstein Ballroom and Hall & Oates on NYE. He has curated custom fashion show mixes for Putumayo and warmed up NYC’s infamous Sullivan Room for house music pioneer Derrick Carter. All of these experiences combined have helped develop Mickey’s party rocking, can’t-no-genre-hold-me-down style of DJing, where you’ll hear everything from rare deep gems to today’s hits blended as if the songs are dancing and loving it.
