I have been into dance music since the Acid House days of 1987. I didn't start learning to mix until 2002 though.
When djing I don't like having a preset list of tunes to play, I generally know what style I want to play but then choose tunes on the fly. When I used to play out I'd take my record bag full of tunes & for every tune I wanted to play I would have multiple others that I could play instead depending on my mood, the crowd etc.
When recording sets I don't like to pre-plan & re-record if there's a bad mix as you can't do that when playing out live. What you hear is what you get :-)
Love to play most genres of dance music, house, electro, breaks, melodic, techno, trance, psy/deep, hard dance, happy hardcore & freeform.
I'm originally from Liverpool, UK but have now been living in Luxembourg since August 2023.
I am hoping to be able to get myself some sets here in Lux in the near future & will be doing more live sets on muck.fm too.
