Metabolism (Metabs), from South Africa, Cape Town, is a Hip-Hop Selector with a Unique and profound taste in sound. Boasting in Hip-Hop, he also has a tendency of shifting his sound to more Future Beats and Electronic Bounce. He began his musical journey as a Rapper in 1994. He found himself playing, as a DJ, at his Open Mic events in 2010 and has not looked back ever since.

He has shared the stage with some of the best in Cape Town along multiple stages and resident venues of the period of 9 years. With artists such as Stylus Destroyers, DJ Hamma, Raiko, DJ Akio (KOL-USA), Alvhinator and Ed Weiss (Uppercut), Big Dre (Headwarmers Show), DJ Eazy (Goodhope FM), DJ Azhul (Beatbangaz), Young Supreme (Button Bashers), Luc (Christian Tiger School), Blumentopf (Germany), Double AB (USA), Wordsworth (USA), Akil from Jurassic 5 (USA) and Jonzi D (UK) to name a few.

Now living in Berlin, he has had the opportunity to rock the crowds at Badehaus for Swag Jam.
