Mel was first hit by house at a very young age due to her parents influence. They were firm 90's house ravers who taught Melissa the importance of high hats mixed in with the suspense of the bass and soulful vocals.

Due to this upbringing it was no surprise that Melissa wanted to learn to beatmatch for herself. She began her journey in 2012 where she locked herself away for a month solid to train her ears. With this she landed a residency with KLIK Underground House Movement where she was apart of a family of experienced DJ's who showed her a more stripped back techno vibe.

Moving on from KLIK Mel continues to play for TDG focusing on vocal tech house with elements of the classic era.

Starting fresh in 2015 Mel continues to push her Djing career along with taking her style of house to the production side of things.
