Mel Gaskin

Mel's musical style is a fusion of deep, soulful house with elements of melodic dub and minimal techno. Her approach to music is all about the journey it takes listeners on. Growing up in a household that embraced a diverse range of genres including funk, soul, reggae, garage, acid and old-school house, Mel developed into an old soul with a modern twist. She first started DJing in Leeds back in 2012. However, she eventually shifted her focus to youth work, using music as a means to connect and engage young people creatively. Now based in London, Mel continues to inspire others through her music while pursuing her passion for DJing.
