McNulty is an open-format DJ who plays music for discerning dance floors. Whether he’s mixing drum & bass, house, garage, breaks, hip-hop, reggae or more niche sounds, there’s one common denominator: soul. He’s a crate-digger who resurfaces old tunes that sound fresh, breaks new music which has that elusive nostalgic feel, and plays songs the audience didn’t know they wanted to hear. He’s supported a wide array of bass-driven acts including Fabio, Monty, Subtronics and Detox Unit across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions, and often curates more laid back sounds around the cafes and small clubs of Brooklyn, where he lives.
