Blu Velvet was originally set up by Matt Prime, I think its fare to say we are into the more musical side of drum & bass, we have watched the scene evolve from the early acid house rave days to present day liquidness.

Matt P has been around the scene for many years, listening to early pirate radio in '89 and heavily involved in the illegal rave scene in the early '90s (lovelight, exodus, pressure fm)

Having watched drum & bass evolve over the past 20 years his love of the music continues to grow.
