1.I have had over forty years experience promoting and marketing live music in Cornwall and Devon, from Folk, Jazz, World, to Rock, Classical etc. Over 600 gigs.
2. I have also put on poets over the years such as; Roger Mc Gough,BrianPatten, Charles Causely, Adrian Henri, Christopher Logue, Dannie Abse, W.S. Graham, Arthur Caddick, etc, etc, etc.
I managed Bob Devereux when he worked withClive Palmer and published two books of Bob’s poems as well as an album of poems & music by them.
3. In 1978 I was one of a group who started the St Ives September Festival andIbooked the Music acts as well as organising the Festival’s publicity for five years.
In 1994 Bob Devereux and I re-launched the Festival (it had closed down in 1986) again I booked the music acts and organised publicity for six years.
4. In 2005 I rejoined the Festival and continued booking acts until 2012
