I've entered the genre of electronic music in 1980. My neighbour sold me his 12'' of Kraftwerks Radioactivity. From that moment I was hooked. In 1983 a friend of mine got a mixer for christmas. We plugged two turntables in and started mixing "Italian Disco" records. That's how it started. I never became famous but that's fine.
