Mark Charles started DJing only a few years ago in a spare room in his house that was above one of the best local underground music venues in the small town of Dumfries.

Exposure to different styles and a multitude of local raw talent brought an idea to him in which he put together a small music room where local new and experienced DJs could come up and jam prior to playing events at the infamous underground venue The Troqueer Arms which was directly below his flat. The project was called #intheden with Mark Charles, which is still available to see on Facebook today.
