Was inspired to learn by Frankie Ramos in 1977 and started DJ'ing at the age of 16 that same year. In 1979 after graduating high school, I moved to Texas to DJ there. I came to find out that there is so much more to learn and thanks to Ralph Encarnacion (my mentor) he taught me the understanding of counting beats and bars. Music has always been in my soul so once I understood the technical aspects of spinning, the rest was up to me to create my own style. I played in the cities of New Paltz, NY, Brownsville, TX, Harlingen, TX, McAllen, TX and Houston, TX. I am more of a Bedroom DJ but I do spin a guest set at a local club here in Brownsville from time to time.
