A ray of color in Berlin's otherwise gray and cold sonic palette, Mariiza enthralls and educates dance floors at home and abroad with her selection of kinetic and rare electronic grooves. Mariiza’s sound is polyrhythmic and eclectic but fundamentally universal as her
music has taken her from Berlin to Tulum to Nairobi to Karachi.
She draws inspiration from a range of contemporary cosmopolitan sources and music history alike. Breaking free from genre-focused sets and mastering the art of sonic storytelling, Mariiza continues to push boundaries and to promote eclecticism in House music.
Her frequent appearances in Tulum in 2021 paved the way for playing alongside some of her earliest inspirations Hyenah, Kid Fonque and Keene for RISE Berlin the same year.
Fast forward to 2022 and Mariiza has made her festival debut at Kaleidoscope Festival in Kenya and is headlining shows in both Kenya and Pakistan.
