The people behind SHAKE DOWN BERLIN are Berlin DJs Elmo & Don Caribou - two guys dedicated to vintage black dance music - ruining venues and dancing shoes together for more than 10 years. They dj soulful and mostly uptempo dance music from the golden age of `65 to `73. From classic sounds like Okeh-Motown-Stax to the complete unknown on original vinyls - topping it off with Deep Funk, R´n´B, Mod and even some Disco Funk and Rap once in a while.

Since starting up with the SHAKE DOWN-series the party has become popular with the soul lovers and dancers of Berlin and way beyond.
