Born in Porto Alegre, Brazil, Marco Machado grew up listening to the eighty's scene fueled by Rush,The Who, Depeche Mode, Peter Murphy, Yes, Kraftwerk and others. Immediately drawn to electronic music, Marco witnessed the development of electronic music in all of its forms and its consolidation at the turn of the century, when he started playing and producing. Following the sounds of DJs and producers such as Sasha, John Digweed, Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Guy J and Henry Saiz, Marco developed his own style and identity. Always seeking different sound textures, Marco's sets are known for intense progressions and a focus on the listener's experience.
