Dada initially mainly was a literary (and theatrical) movement. The visual arts at first were sidelined. However, the Dada genre cross-over potential was clearly evident not only since Kurt Schwitters' concept of art. BeBop is the musical expression of Dada. BeBopTwist transfers the, first by Andre Breton and then by the Beat Generation propagated, "automatic writing" into music. Basically BebopTwist is a style of jazz in a free form consolidated with the psychedelic music of the sixties and in his way to deal with humor is a splash of romance. This genre was been developed about the early to mid seventies. The most significant feature is an oscillating, swinging mood in a sometimes tangoesc manner that draws awareness to an expanding direction. The first representative of this style was Eddie Chourky. His flowing atonal bass lines are now considered legendary. Chourky quote: "It made a lot of joy to see how the fingers whirling over the fretboard, without to intervene consciously."
