Growing up in Amsterdam and only a bike ride away from long-running events like Awakenings, maloU’s passion for music led her to the techno scene at a young age. Encouraged by her father’s career as a sound engineer and influenced by her mother’s creativity, she was surrounded by inspiration which enabled her to start organising music-related events before making the move to Australia in 2010.
In Melbourne, she launched onto the scene spinning beats and set her mark with projects like Unfold Music, which has since become a recognisable brand in the Melbourne music scene.
In the last few years, her relationship with techno progressed as she has supported numerous international artists like Minilogue, Nihad Tule, Paul Woolford, Matador, Alex Niggemann and Perfect Stranger
