Maya Petrovna aka Maja Petrovna Hilcisin, is an operatic 'crossover' contra alto, film composer and performance artist. Dedicated to creating magical surrealism through her noted full length solo shows "Love songs from the violent paradise" and "Futura Monomania", Maya composes all original music and is designer of all costumes behind her shows, creating different character for each music piece. Maya's art performances have been contributing to theatres from Sydney Opera House (for CODA "Music for the eyes" show) to Berlin's iconic Kit Kat, residency shows at the exclusive London Box Soho, watch launch for celebrity Will.I.Am and featuring as solo performer in Steven Wilson's video 'Song of I'. Maya's credits include singing and composing original orchestral scores for an acclaimed film director Baz Luhrmann and his 10 apple podcasts series about his film, “Australia”, spot featuring Annie Leibovitz, a global advertising campaign Tourism Australia for Asia produced by Revolver Film.
