Lunatic Fringe

Although British, I grew up in Southern Africa where I developed my enthusiasm for music, or more particularly, drumming & rhythms. I became more seriously involved back in late 80's London, starting out as a drummer in blues/rock bands. Bands never worked out for me, so on a backpacking trip a few years later, in a tent in the middle of Africa I decided to forget it & turn my attention to electronic music. On my return to London I sold me drums & bought a sequencer & synth. By 1994 I'd a pair of Technics decks & had begun releasing productions on my own label. This continued through the 90's & the first half of the noughties with the ocassional Live & DJ gigs both in the UK & abroad. I closed the record label in the mid 2000's & have been issuing stuff on the internet & through licensing to other labels since then. My interest in dance music slowed up a little in the late noughties but I've been reviving my enthusiasm again in recent years.
