Backbeat is a one-hour, weekly radio show featuring vintage popular music of all genres. Hosted by long-time music collector Lorne VanSinclair, Backbeat focuses on little-heard and under-appreciated artists from the 1920s to the 1970s as well as some new music by artists who honour the tradition.
Backbeat is broadcast on CanoeFM (CKHA-FM) 100.9 in Haliburton, Ontario, Canada on Sundays at 10 AM Eastern time and is syndicated on community stations across North America. It is available for free to any station, on-air of on-line, that wants it.
