As Brad grew up on a Raspberry farm, he started writing songs at an early age. He enjoyed the influences of Neil Young, Doc Watson, and bands like Goose Creek Symphony and Led Zeppelin. It was this wide spectrum of styles that encouraged Brad to mix his own unique combinations.
Brad’s early recordings often required him to play Violin, Viola and Cello for symphony parts, and he continued to learn a variety of instruments, as his recordings required it. Today, Brad loves the endless possibilities that technology offers.
Brad tries to keep a wide dynamic range within his compositions, allowing for “breathing room,” and tries to introduce stimulating surprises as his songs progress. Brad's clean lyrics are meant to reflect the goodness in people, and reaffirm the need for global unity. Brad has been fortunate to record with some very talented singers, and his songs meet the SOCAN/CANCON criteria.
