Born to Verne Altica Hutchinson and Leonard Ashton Saunders on the first day of September 1953 to the name Locksley Earl Saunders in the parish of Saint Thomas in the vicinity of Port Morant , it is said that rolling stone gathers no moss , while growing up, Iwas told in puberty. I also resides in Guys Hill , Saint Mary only to get to know myself residing in Linstead , Saint Catherine with my mother and family , beginning to attend school that was held at the Salvation Army church hall then to Linstead Primary school then to Saint Catherine Primary in Spanish Town and stayed with my aunt sometimes in Spanish Town .
With a house of seven children now my mother had to arrange with my father and her two oldest sons , me the second child was two of the seven children that had to go to live in Clarendon North with my father’s mother where I received further schooling at Crooked River Primary , there I sat the Common Entrance Examination and was successful so I left for Vere.
