Less Records is a Düsseldorf based label founded by Kai Blankenberg, Lars Schmidt, Thomas Baumhoff and Tom Blankenberg.

Having already spent 27 years DIYing – playing music together, recording music together, designing releases and producing videos/films – we decided to consequently release on our own as well.

Don’t expect monthly releases. Don’t expect specific genres. Expect heartfelt and handmade music.

Why did we call it Less Records?

As Tom once said: „ I found out, I wasn’t interested in more. It’s less I’m interested in.”
