I started Dj’ing when I was about 20. My first experience DJ'ing outside my bedroom came a few years later with a slot on Innercity radio.

I was lucky enough to be offered a gig at Area in Watford, and from there things just escalated really. I soon found myself on the decks at Pacha playing for nights like Connected & Mimo, and I was regularly lugging my records around the bars and clubs in London.

Sadly it all came to and end after a while because as glamorous as that may sound, there was little to no money involved unless you were taking lots of paying guests with you. I never did it for the money but times were hard then and I couldn’t afford to keep travelling to London every weekend. I even sold my decks, and then a few years later the whole vinyl collection went! (Ouch)

15 years passed without any decks, then covid came along and I though “f*** it, I’m getting some equipment”!

Best decision I ever made!
