Larry Kimpel's music industry credentials are impressive. All one needs to do is simply “Google” his name and hundreds of references immediately pop up on screen pointing to the fact that this gentleman is no novice by any stretch of the imagination. As the Bassist and Musical Director for the platinum selling R&B Band “Maze featuring Frankie Beverly” and others, Larry has let his light shine on millions of people around the world. His performances are well documented, both in the form of live concerts and studio recordings and it is through these mediums that the "Kimpel Brand" continues to thrive and grow. Larry hails from Chicago, Illinois and is the youngest of four siblings... Mary, Diane, Maurice, and of course, Larry. Upon the untimely passing of their Mother, (Helen Williams) at the age of 39, the four children went to live with their Aunt (Ruby Robinson). It was under their Aunt's roof that Larry's interest in music began to blossom
and a deep Faith in God was fostered.
