Made up of four electronic DJs/Producers and based in London, KOYA are set to shake up the UK Dubstep scene in 2011. Taking influence from artists such as Spor, Noisia and Reso, KOYA never fail to deliver a monstrous sound, taking the dubstep genre to places you never knew existed.
2010 saw Koya feature on brand new releases from labels Monkey Dub Recordings and Rankadank Records, whilst also playing sets supporting the likes of Flux Pavillion, Subscape, Funtcase, Reso, Sigma and Cookie Monsta.
With tracks being likened to '...a transformer trying to put his jeans on in the morning and falling down his stairs’, be prepared to be blown away by technically produced basslines and dark melodic sounds.
KOYA have gained support from industry figures such as The Others, Rogue Star, Reso, Koan Sound; even been getting airplay of their track “Best Served Ice Cold” from DJ’s such Annie Mac.
