Kom Kom is a British-Khmer DJ based in Sheffield, UK. She is one part of DiaspoRIDDIM (an inclusive genre-defying, border-hopping celebration of the deep connections between migration, identity, and music), and a resident DJ for Rebel Soul at Shambala Festival. Her ongoing project East Beat explores experimental electronic music from East and South-East Asia and the diasporas, and has resulted in radio shows for Melodic Distraction, Hong Kong Community Radio, Hanoi Community Radio, and Mondo Radio. On the dancefloor, Kom likes anything bassy and percussive.
