Kirch has a signature melodic sound, that finds a space between the club and outdoor dancefloor.

Playing four-to-the-floor grooves from house to techno, he focuses on emotion, melodies and big soundscapes.

As a teenager, after hearing stories about the famous ‘The Gathering’ festival in New Zealand, he started DJing to continue that ethos of dancefloor connection and outdoor raving.

He followed the festival scene throughout the 2000’s, DJing and VJing at festivals and producing a number of stand-out electronic records with organic and dub influences.

For 4 years he also hosted an NZ electronic music show on student radio, drawing inspiration from pioneering local artists.

It’s his wide range of music, festival and visual art experiences that shape the energy Kirch loves to bring to the dancefloor.
