Upon moving to Tallahassee, FL to attend Florida State University, Rafael ‘Kid Beast’ Sanchez began training in the art of the DJ. The New York native taught himself how to mix music and managed to establish himself as one of Florida‘s hottest DJ’s in only two short years. Kid Beast’s quick ascent can be attributed to his natural talent, dedication, and a commitment to music. He has also distinguished himself with his distinct style, song selection, and ability to read a crowd.
Kid Beast is known for his impressive mixing skills, which allow him to mix songs from many different genres seamlessly. As an open format DJ, he can play Top 40, Hip Hop, Pop, EDM, Reggae, 80’s, 90’s and Latin among other genres. This unique playlist has allowed Kid Beast to establish a variety of diverse weekly residencies at venues within Tallahassee’s nightlife scene. He has also been featured at dozens of prominent local events ranging from pool parties to charity events to music festivals.
