First hit Byron Bay surf in 1965, have lived in Byron Bay Australia off & on since 1976, permanently since 1984. Started Live Coverage Concerts with Brother Dan Doeppel in 1976. Operated The Piggery Byron Bay Arts Factory from 1983 to 1993 with Brother Dan Doeppel & partner Karin Woods. Founded & produced East Coast Blues & Roots Festival from 1990 to 2004 in Byron.
