At the age of 18 he followed his dream and moved to NYC It was 2001 and Kenji noticed two things: NYC's party scene was healthy, and it had not yet succumbed to dirty house. He transitioned from being a hip-hop to a house DJ, getting in on the ground level and bringing down a crate of UK house, just as NYC was falling in love with Trance. Inspired by the power of the DJ to move masses of people to the rhythm a dream was born.
