Haven't posted schools. Started school on Tuesday 08 September 1964 and served my sentence on Wednesday 20 July 1977. I HATED every minute of it. The motto of the school I attended was "Learn To Live". I learnt about fear, I learnt how to mistrust adults (teachers - who had no interest in you unless you unless you were winning). Why ARE people so nostalgic for their schooldays? I began playing in bands in 1976 and in 1983 I signed a record deal with the band I was in at the time. The band were no great shakes to be honest, I'm not even a fan, but we did national and local TV and a few Radio 1 sessions which were kindly given to us by John Peel, Janice Long and David Jensen. Spent the next 27 years marking time in civil service jobs and continually playing in bands. Don't get me wrong, I met some great people and it all paid the bills. I have also enjoyed terrific health, even ran a marathon in 2007 and will be doing another one on 09 October. Right now I'm on the verge of a career chan
