Karlos first began mixing in 1992 mainly at after club parties in Pembrokeshire, only having a few records at the time, but this soon grew into an obsession spending most of his spare time and money in records shops. He eventually bought a set of second hand SoundLab belt drive decks and an old Gemini mixer from a mate and so it began! After eventually saving up enough money and purchasing his Technics SL1200s, he was well and truly hooked and began building a nice little record collection along the way.
Karlos’ major influences were Sasha, John Digweed, Carl Cox, Anthony Pappa, Underworld and Leftfield which still rings true today. He soon expanded his list of DJ’s who influenced him to the likes of Billy Nasty, Jeff Mills, Gayle San, Adam Beyer and Chris Liebing, to name but a few.
