Kacke und Schmutz actually started out as a joke.
Rene, who often uses the word Kacke, went on the internet to search for some funny
synonyms for the word Kacke.
He soon came with words like: Kacke, Dreck, Schmutzig …etc.
Omar had also developed along with this strange and bizarre form of expression.
With him it became the word: Schmutzig!
Since then they call each other Kacke und Schmutz.

Their music is a style like no other.
Kacke plays and produces mainly techhouse and minimal.
Schmutz does not really have a style that he calls his own.
Sometimes he produces house, and other times it is techno and that is precisely why this is such a unique duo.
A combination that is so unique and apart that it’s always a surprise waiting to be unwrapped!
With these two you’ll never know what you are going to get (well, you know… party!)!
