Joey Wisgirda has studied trumpet at the New England Conservatory of Music. He also studied jazz theory and composition with John Tchicai, and performed throughout California and performed with a diverse range of players as Alton Ellis, Karl Denson, Kraddy, Tipper, John Scofield, Bassnectar, and the Mutaytor. Now he creates electronic music with Ableton Live and a host of other soft- and hardware synths, and tying it all together with a Morrison Digital Trumpet wind controller to morph from Jazz and Funk to glitch hop and downtempo. He is also the owner of Awakening Productions, a live Sound Reinforcement company.
